Taoist Bazi Psychology 2022

As generally practiced by the Chinese inventors and practitioners of the system, Bazi focuses on giving information about the cyclical changes in the “five” areas of life; for example, increase or diminution of wealth, social and career status, relationships, resources and support, ability to be productive, and a general warning of serious health events, and so on.

I applied the cognitive skills that led to the reformation of the Ausarian spiritual system, as presented through the volumes of the Metu Neter, to discover the hidden treasures of the so-called Daoist Astrology and found a way of unlocking its power to provide insight into a person’s psychological makeup, emotional patterns, mental processes, talents, and health picture. These can be combined to provide personalized coaching and counseling in the areas of career, relationships, health, spiritual initiation, entrepreneurship, etc.

The additional information was sourced from the Daoist philosophical literature, I Ching, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Western Psychology. The result was combined with the Bazi system to create a new genre, Taoist Bazi Psychology. Of note, is the replacement of “astrology” with “psychology,” for reasons that will be introduced.t

Unclear to the practitioners of Bazi and Chinese Astrology is the fact that the system is not astrological. Central to Astrology as defined and practiced is the effects that planets, stars, the sun and the moon have on earthly events as they transit the signs of the zodiac and/or constellations, and even without these as Michael Gauquelin has proven.

So called Chinese Astrology and Bazi indicate the effects that the cyclical changes of the energization of the faculties of the psyche have on the life of man (as well as the environmental psychic envelope). The understanding of this fact makes the 12 branches of “Chinese Astrology” the centerpiece of the system. In other words, the 12 branches (Rat, Tiger, Snake, etc.) correspond to the 12 faculties of the human psyche. Understanding them lays a foundation for understanding human behavior and prognosticating events, avoiding and repairing behavioral and health issues.

Intro to Daoist BaZi Philosophy

Hetep! The Taui Network annual Bazi Report program is back.

Daoist BaZi Class 1

Hetep, Ra Un Nefer Amen, here, giving light to the true make-up, and purpose of so-called Chinese Astrology, and Bazi.

As you will learn in this course, so-called Chinese Astrology is not an astrological system. Astrological systems are based on the notion that planetary movements along the zodiac (psycho-astronomical zones) dispense their force to determine or greatly influence human behavior, and events.

Daoist BaZi Class 2

Establishing and maintaining equilibrium (Tai Chi) is the most important task in life according to the Daoist science of life. Tai Chi represents the harmonious interaction of all our faculties, and life-forces.

Bazi, through the “birth chart” shows that everyone in the world is born with a state of disequilibrium in their life-force, and faculties. The implication is clear. We all have an inborn propensity to errors, and wrongdoings in life.

Daoist BaZi Class 3

The Chief Purpose of Daoist Bazi

Insight into the basic aspects of life (Life events, and our abilities to meet them).

One of the most important values of the Bazi system, as popularly practiced, is its ability to give insight into a person's Areas of Life. The birth chart shows the potential assets, and liabilities that impact a person's life. As popularly practiced, Bazi reveals the following regarding their fundamental "Areas of life."

Daoist BaZi Class 4

The Areas of Life

Let’s begin class 4 with a reminder that our approach to Bazi departs greatly from the manner that Bazi is popularly practiced.

The great importance of “Daoist Bazi” (vs “Bazi”) is that it provides insight into the chief events that will, on one hand, present themselves in a person’s Areas of Life, and on the other, the talents, abilities, and mental processing that are strongly available for navigating the Areas of Life. Life’s events, per the popular Bazi system, are indicated by the celestial stems (the elements; fire, earth, etc.) as explained in the previous classes. The talents, abilities, mental processors, as well as specific areas of life events are indicated by the branches.

Daoist Bazi Class 5

The Areas of Life, Part 2

Common sense indicates that success in life, and all else, is facilitated, and optimized by having a good plan. Unlike the common practice of creating a plan upon a subjective foundation, the Daoist and Bazi systems life-plan is based on the life fulfilment processes that are imbedded in the mind and psyche. For example, in a zoo, tigers are fed a carnivorous diet because their biological system mandates it. The structures of the psychical and mental processes are the Five Celestial Stem Areas of Life, and the Branches 12 Stages of Growth. The components of these structures are not merely templates for actions and tasks; they provide the forces that are required for their undertakings. For example, a component of the Areas of Life is having “Friends.”

Daoist BaZi Class 6

Bazi practitioners focus on five areas of life, that in their minds, synchronize to determine the wellbeing of all possible life events.  These five areas are

  1. Friends and Enemies
  2. Resource (support for your conduct of life),
  3. Output (your creativity and productivity),
  4. Wealth
  5. Regulation (your observance of order, laws, status), or how it is imposed on you.
Daoist BaZi Class 7

The 12 Branches

Unit 1: Introduction

Bazi, as we have seen thus far, is a tool that enables insight into the events of life. It predicts the cyclical alternations of the areas of life, and their characteristics, areas of challenges, and of ease. We will lean that it gives much more.

This is shown by the 12 Branches. The 12 branches are presented in the parts of the Bazi chart that list the 12 animals—Rat, Ox, Horse, Dog, etc.
